Barnaby Leather Tote – PDF Handbag Template

The Barnaby Leather Tote is a stylishly structured everyday bag with clean lines, fixed bugatti-style handles, and a clever cinch detail that allows you to change its shape from a roomy tote to a more compact silhouette. With its solid base and practical features—including a zipped internal divider, zipped internal pocket, and external zip pocket—it’s the perfect companion for work, travel, or day-to-day life.

This is a rewarding make that looks beautifully polished and professional, yet it’s completely achievable on a domestic sewing machine. Designed with home sewers in mind, the Barnaby Tote is a fantastic project for confident beginners and intermediates looking to stretch their skills with zips, structure, and hardware.

Whether you're sewing your first bag or adding another to your handmade collection, Barnaby is a design you'll turn to again and again.
